Celebration of Life services for Mrs. Carolyn P. Davis Edwards, age 72 of Livingston will be conducted at a later date in Knoxville. Mrs. Edwards passed away Monday, October 25, 2021, from her home in Livingston. She was born in Knoxville on October 2, 1949, to the late Robert and Lois EuBanks Davis. She was a christian in faith, and a college graduate. Carolyn served her country in the United States Air Force. Survivors include her sons, Harold Watts and wife, Michelle, of Knoxville, and Daniel Wright of Knoxville; daughter, Melissa Lifford of Fredericksburg, VA.

Mr. Ronnie Clarence Hoyle, age 72 of Sparta, passed away Sunday, October 24, 2021, at his home. The family has chosen cremation, and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Mr. Hoyle was born August 8, 1949, in Waynesville, NC, the son of the late Clarence Hoyle and Lodia Ashe Hoyle. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. Survivors include his longtime companion, Kendra Cox of Sparta; a daughter, Kendra Usrey (Theron) of Sparta.

Mrs. Carolyn Frances Nash, age 78 of Baxter, passed away Saturday, October 23, 2021, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Her wishes of cremation and no service are being honored. Mrs. Nash was born January 9, 1943, in Battle Creek, MI. She was a homemaker. Survivors include her husband, Ronald M. Nash of Baxter; stepsons, Harlan (Jennifer) Nash of Portland, OR, and Kyle Nash of Cookeville.

Ms. Barbara Christine Campbell, age 50 of Sparta, passed away Friday, October 22, 2021, at Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro. The family has chosen cremation and a service will be planned at a later date. Ms. Campbell was born Thursday, March 4, 1971, in Florida, to the late Bill Vaughn and Betty Jenene Council. Survivors include a daughter, Brianna Campbell of Cookeville; two sons, Destin Blake Campbell and Landon Cole Campbell.

Graveside services for Mr. Joel Douglas Copeland, age 59 of Livingston, will be conducted Wednesday, October 27, at 11:00 a.m., at Overton County Memorial Gardens. Mr. Copeland passed away Sunday, October 24, 2021, at Livingston Regional Hospital. He was born in Livingston on December 21, 1961, to the late Sam Douglas and Neda Rose Thompson Copeland. Joel was a 1981 graduate of Livingston Academy and a member of the First Christian Church in Livingston. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing golf, and working. His best enjoyment was spending time with his family and friends. Survivors include his son, Jacob Copeland of Portland. The family will welcome friends Tuesday, until 9 p.m., at Speck Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Mrs. Joy Lynn Barlow Fiolek, age 54 of Gainesboro, will be held Wednesday, October 27, at 2:00 p.m., at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Lynn Cemetery in the Burristown community of Jackson County. Mrs. Fiolek passed away Monday, October 25, 2021, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born November 30, 1966, in Jackson County, to Barbara Barlow and the late Shirley Odell Barlow. She worked for TDOT. Survivors include her husband, William M. Fiolek of Gainesboro; two sons, Caustyn Fiolek and Dakota Fiolek, both of Gainesboro; her mother, Barbara Barlow of Gainesboro. The family will receive friends Tuesday, until 8:00 p.m., and Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of services.

Graveside services for Mr. Robert “Bob” Frank Nichols, age 79 of Cookeville, will be held Thursday, October 28, at 11:00 a.m., at Crest Lawn Cemetery. Military honors will be provided by the Veterans Honor Guard. Mr. Nichols passed away Sunday, October 24, 2021, at his home. He was born July 29, 1942, in Baxter, to the late Jesse Donald and Pearlie Brown Nichols. He was U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam era. Bob retired as a coordinator with Porelon of Cookeville, and later was a UCARTS driver. He was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Sharon Herd Nichols of Cookeville; sons and daughters-in-law, Brian and Wendy Nichols of Double Springs, and Adam and Brenda Johnson of Cookeville. The family will receive friends Wednesday, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper, Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Mrs. Carolyn Jane White, age 80 of Quebeck, will be held Thursday, October 28, at 1:00 p.m., at Oak Lawn Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Anderson Cemetery. Mrs. White passed away Sunday, October 24, 2021, at her home. She was born April 6, 1941, in Sparta, the daughter of the late John McBride and Lillian Black McBride. Survivors include a daughter, Angie Sparks (Mike) of Sparta. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy White. The family will receive friends Thursday, from 11:00 a.m. until time of the service.

Funeral services for Mr. William Howard Eller, age 94 of Baxter, will be held Friday October 29, at 2:00 p.m., from the chapel of Whitson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Cookeville City Cemetery. Mr. Eller was born on September 16, 1927, in Cookeville, to the late Norvel Joe Eller and Mary Jane Eller. Survivors include a son, Ernie Julian of Baxter; a daughter, Gail Julian of South Carolina. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Eller. The family receive friends at Thursday, October 28, from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., and on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until time of services at 2:00 p.m.

A Celebration of Life gathering for Mrs. Linda Sue McCloud, age 61 of Monterey, will be conducted Friday, October 29, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., from the chapel of Goff Funeral Home. Mrs. McCloud passed away Sunday, October 24, 2021, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was a homemaker, and will be best remembered for her outgoing personality. Survivors include her husband, Donnie McCloud; a daughter and son-in-law, Tabatha and Luke Phillips; two sons and daughters-in-law, Trinity and Cindy Phillips, and Billy And Samantha Phillips; one stepdaughter, Emy McCloud.

A visitation for Ms. Pamela Boles, age 59 of Cookeville, will be held Saturday, October 30, from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., at Presley Funeral Home. Ms. Boles passed away Friday, October 8, 2021, at her home. She was born Tuesday, February 20, 1962, in Barberton, OH, the daughter of the late John Wilson and the late Cynthia Boles Wilson. Pam was a fun loving person. She was a good mom, sister, and friend to who ever needed one. Pam enjoyed the outdoors, camping and fishing were her favorites. Survivors include two sons, Bobby Boles of Cookeville, and Michael Boles of Pensacola, FL.

A memorial service for Mr. Michael Dean Lee, age 69 of Cookeville, will be held Saturday, October 30, at 1:00 p.m., at the Dyer Chapel of Hooper, Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home. Mr. Lee passed away Tuesday, October 19, 2021, at NHC of Cookeville. He was born August 29, 1952 in Cookeville to the late Billy and Ruth Short Lee. Michael was a 1970 graduate of Cookeville High School, and a 1975 graduate of Tennessee Tech University with a degree in History. He had served as a substitute teacher in the Putnam County School system, worked at Pate’s Motorcyle Shop in Chattanooga and Mid-State Kawasaki of Cookeville. He was owner-operator of a lawn care/small engine repair shop. Michael loved to read, especially about history and was a stand-up comedian. He enjoyed NASCAR races and riding motorcycles. He attended West View Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Heather Hogan Lee of Cookeville; daughter, Danielle (Francis) Tommaso of Cookeville; son Kyle (Allie) Lee of Knoxville. The family will receive friends Saturday, from 11 a.m. until service time, at the funeral home.

Memorial services for Mr. Ed Hensley, age 69 of Gainesboro, will be held Saturday, October 30, at 2:00 p.m., at his residence at 227 Hix Hollow Road, Gainesboro. Mr. Hensley passed away Thursday, September 2, 2021, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was the son of the late Cordell Hensley and Roxie Richardson Hensley. He was a logger. Survivors include his daughters, Amanda Lucy (Greg Brown) Hensley of Whitleyville and Heather Hensley of Westmoreland. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Eddie Leeroy Hensley, Jr.

Funeral services for Mrs. Joyce M. Ford Shoemaker, age 83 of Anderson, IN, and formerly of Allons, will be conducted Saturday, October 30, at 2:00 p.m., from the Fellowship Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Fellowship Cemetery. Mrs. Shoemaker passed away Saturday, October 23, 2021, in Anderson, IN. She was born in Allons, to the late Estes and Ada Ford. Survivors include her children, David Shoemaker and wife, Dottie, Kathy Collins, Bob Shoemaker, and Lisa Thomas. In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Caston Shoemaker; and a daughter, Gina Paschal. The family will welcome friends Saturday, from 12:00 p.m. until time of services at 2 p.m., at Fellowship Baptist Church. Celebration of Life services for Ms. Doris Miars, age 70 of Monterey, will be conducted Wednesday, November 3, at 3:00 p.m., from the chapel of Goff Funeral Home. Inurnment will follow in the Welch Memorial Cemetery. Ms. Miars passed away Friday, September 24, in Gilbert, AZ. She was born in Dunkirk, IN, to the late Earl and Callie Ray (McCowan) Harris. She graduated from Dunkirk High School and attended First Freewill Baptist Church. She was quite proud of working from age 17 until her retirement at age 67 without a lapse in any years. She had several jobs over the course of her work career, starting at Boston’s Store in Dunkirk, Indiana at age 17. She loved working for several years at Stantec, a global engineering and consulting firm in Phoenix, AZ, as an HR manager. Her most recent job was for Stoops Buick and GMC dealership in Muncie, IN, and was always amazed when people recognized her from appearing in some of their commercials. She made several lifelong friends throughout her work history. Survivors include one sister, Estell (Collins) Sisco, of Crawford. The family will receive friends at Goff Funeral Home, Wednesday, November 3, from 1:00 p.m. until time of services at 3:00 p.m.
